Celeste Wong
Head of School
Celeste Wong is the head of SunBear Montessori School, driven by a deep belief in Montessori education as a lifelong foundation for independence, confidence and respect. A mother herself, she established SunBear with the intention of creating a calm, purposeful and nurturing environment — one that she wanted for her own child, and now offers to all families seeking a more meaningful early childhood experience.
She holds a Degree in Finance, a Montessori Diploma for ages 3–6 (MMI, Singapore), an AMI Montessori certification for ages 0–3 (AMI Australia), and a Diploma in Child Psychology and Learning Difficulties. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Management and continues to expand her knowledge through international conferences, workshops and professional training.
Inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy, Celeste is committed to maintaining high standards of practice, ensuring SunBear Montessori remains a community where children grow with independence, emotional security, and a deep connection to the world around them.
